OK...I must have read the law wrong.....does seem lame since most "reserves" work on a regular basis.

Thank god it's not. I would dread selling ammo if it was.

Twice ive been told by the Sac county sheriff there is nothing wrong and they think everyone should be armed. Extremely long story short my home was broken into while I was away and my wife was home alone with our new baby. Luckily my brother lived next door and good friends lived across the street. The responding Sheriffs very nicely had my wife give them my handgun and make it safe for her prior to returning it. I received a phone call telling me everything was fine and thank god my wife was armed as there were 5 wanted felons attempting to break in. Secondly I had some real low lifes move in across the street after our friends left with a dog they loved to admit they "trained" and " fed gun powder" to make it crazy and fight. Said dog broke through a window and attacked my wife's Pomeranian at my sons 3 year old birthday party with 15+ 3 year olds there. The dog repeatedly got out and I had repeatedly called the Sheriffs dept. The responding officers showed up 2 days after the attack and told me how lucky I was that there were no dead or mauled three year olds but animal control was doing nothing. They then said they had filled countless reports and if I see that "F in" dog out again get my shotgun and kill the damn thing and no one would look twice. That was after they told me everyone should be armed. I decided to move.
