    Line in the sand

Wanted to comment on that thread...it is closed, so here is my 2 cents worth. While I understand those that have family (I've got lots in cally too), I felt that I had no choice...I tried several times to contact the local gun friendly political ,party in San Bernardino (the republicans) and got nothing but crickets.. So when the opportunity presented itself to move out of state...
Those of you that see gun ownership as a hobby...I feel sorry for ya... And you do deserve some amount of criticism. I refuse to register any weapon, my SKS with the folding stock and bayonet and detachable mags sat in the gun safe for years...only coming out for a cleaning twice a year. Same with the M1 carbine, along with the 30 round mags and K-Bar. The final straw was this...I have a pre-WW1 vintage Mauser Gewehr bolt action 8mm handed down from my Dad... It can be configured to accept a 20 round detachable magazine..as in a "trench mauser" On a lark, I contacted the Cally DOJ and asked them what their opinion was... "It is illegal to own any rifle with a magazine more than 10 rounds..." Imagine that...banning a pre-WW1 bolt action rifle...because it could be configured to use a detachable magazine. Anyway, my 2 cents worth. Good luck...the only solution I see is to bring back the old concept of city-states. LA, SF, SD, Sacto all are big enough to be their own states. As well as many of the larger liberal sanctuary cities...split them off their states, and let them be their own states.
Presently, I live in Oregon...had a project I wanted to do, walked in to the LGS, plunked down my money and ID, 10 minutes later, I was on the way home with the pistol to start the project. Posted the results in curio and relics....

Yeah I dont know why the thread was closed either. Didnt seem like anyone was being abusive or anything. Mods??? Anyway, my line was the passing of prop 47. Its the main reason I got my CCW along with just the general crime rate in San Bernardino. Thank god that our Sheriff here is pro 2A. The answer is not letting people out of jail. The answer is using our tax dollars to build more jails and keep criminals in jail. We also need harsher penalties for gun crimes or felon in possession. As for non-violent drug crimes, thats a bunch of bull. When you buy or sell drugs you are supporting a criminal networks and cartels that deal in death. Plus, I dont feel sorry for addicts or think that they should be coddled in any way. No one put a gun to their head and made them take that first hit, or snort that first line. Its a choice. Most poor people, homeless, and drug addicts are in the situations they are in due to horrible life choices that they made. Their lot in life is of their own making.

Because people don't want to hear the truth. The higher courts who have the authority to make real decisions won't listen, we can't beat the illegal alien demographics that power the Democrat party, our only hope is radical civil disobedience.

Much like our founding fathers, your line is in the sand of economics.

Finally somebody has it right about the "poor non-violent" drug criminals, and of yeah, Maiden does rule.
