CA gun laws/regs interfere with commerce

Yes, I am aware that the horse is dead, but ...
    <rant>

Bud's just announced their updated CA compliant lists.
Decided to see just how much CA is interfering in free trade & interstate commerce; depriving access to product choice/features/safety.

Just looking at the number of products that Bud's has in the following categories:
    Rifles
    - most popular: 14,558
    - AR: 221
    - other: 1,145
    - CA compliant: 1,682

    Handguns:
    - most popular: 9,882
    - 1911 types: 555
    - other: 678
    - CA compliant: 449

    Shotguns:
    - most popular: 4,615
    - CA compliant: 746

(yes ... am aware "other" and "most popular" may not be limited to just guns)

The CA laws/regs are an infringement on my freedom of choice/trade. They limit my choice of product, features and safety. And in some/many cases doing so while increasing my costs.

The CA laws/regs are an infringement on all of the FFL/LGS/... as they limit the range of products that can be sold and artificially limit and stifle the marketplace. And likely at increased cost(s) of doing business.

States can prohibit things. If they couldn’t they wouldn’t be states.

Yes, the horse is dead, but this is a new way of looking at the corpse!

Thanks for doing the research and drilling down on the actual figures. Really infuriating is all I can say. 🤬
