It is the responsibility of your employer to administer this training. Ask the scale house officer or call the TSA Department of Homeland Security. Is it not a policy that if you stop for lunch you must be in attendance of your placard vehicle. In plain sight or parked in a safe haven.Comment

That new ID program is a joke, I already had a background check done when I got my MMD from the USCG and I had to get another one done for the new TWIC card. The background check and requirements to get a TWIC card are much lower fyi. Not to mention that most ports don't even have the card readers yet and you don't even need to prove a reason for getting the TWIC, anyone can walk in and apply for one.Are you carrying anything that might conceivably be of use to a terrorist? Chemicals, uniforms, fuel, anything like that? If so, make sure to mention the potential terrorist threat aspects to the dispatcher, or you could even call an FBI or DHS dispatcher directly. They have emergency numbers separate from 911. They're taking transportation security very seriously these days, with the new ID program and so on.Oppressors can tyrannize only when they achieve a standing army, an enslaved press, and a disarmed populace. -- James Madison
