Depends on if they are handguns or rifles.

For handguns, it's less than 6 transactions. Any number or handguns can be done per transaction.

For rifles/shotguns, it's 'irregular and occasional sales'

If a person wants to sell more than 6 of his pistols a year, He needs to wait for the next year?

Read it again. Better yet, it is good for those owning firarms to learn to read the PC, because that is really what you need to know, regarding various restrictions. They are readily available on the DOJ BOF website.

PC 12070(a) No person shall sell, lease, or transfer firearms unless he or she has been issued a license pursuant to Section 12071
PC12070 (b) Subdivision (a) does not include any of the following:
        (1) ...
        .
        .
        (4) The infrequent sale, lease, or transfer of firearms.

PC12071(c)(1) As used in this section, "infrequent" means:
        (A) For pistols, revolvers, and other firearms capable of being concealed upon the person, less than six transactions per calendar year. For this purpose, "transaction" means a single sale, lease, or transfer of any number of pistols, revolvers, or other firearms capable of being concealed upon the person.
        (B) For firearms other than pistols, revolvers, or other firearms capable of being concealed upon the person, occasional and without regularity.

THANKS!!!! So You could sell 3 pistols to the same person and it counts as one transfer. Also , does selling to a store counts as a transfer?

Selling to the store/dealer does not generate a DROS so it will not count.
