El Dorado Sherrif Catches Becerra Lying about Ammo Permits

It appears that the CA OLA has not reviewed the "law" regarding issuance of ammo sales licenses. While Becerra says approvals have been made, they mean nothing until OLA has approved the actual law proposed by DOJ.

The advice to ammo sellers is to close your doors until you get your permit.

I reckon the numbers refer to ED County instead of the state overall. I have heard application numbers between 4800 and 7000, with no approvals issued to date.

The same advice was given to a major chain retailer: no tickee, no sellee, no ammo in plain view, nothing that implies ammo even exists.

It is rumored CalGuns and NRA will file suit as denial of the ability to buy ammo at all has to be incompatible with 2A.
