Going to Wallyworld to pick up a scrip. I'll check for ammo, they had a stash of Winchester brass 7.62x39 for $14.

They are out of biz here in Encinitas. The sign says "when we get our license" stuff.

So why isn't CA asking the state like NJ, NY, & and others that is in the same boat about how do they deal with their ammunition background Law. Everyone is so worried about it & yes it's our state not theirs but ask to see how they 're living day by day with this issue.
Ok so with all these BS going on every year and pass who knows what, and more to come very soon. how many of you that can't afford to move out or the ones that stay and fight... How many of you already started thinking about saying fu*k the laws and becoming like the real good guys. "Bad people" They get everything they want and you get the leftovers or most time nothing. I'm sure at this time/point most California resident have already panning too. I want be mad at all 100% understand. But if you're the type of Sissy person, that goes by the book will let just said you're the only ones getting screw over each time and every time... If u can't beat them join them.! Yes theirs Pro & Con but you know the law maker are corrupted and you think they give a damn about you apparently not. When they wanted u to vote for them so they can help your community or state they did everything to get you to fall for them but once the won and get to do what they want. Will they don't give a sh** about you or what they told you what they can do to help.

Was talking to a guy yesterday that said he doesn't care about CA law, just Federal laws. Carries loaded/unregistered handgun in his car, has multiple ARs w/o BB and tons of recently purchased 30 round magazines. He shoots mostly on BLM land in Placer and El Dorado counties and regularly takes his guns to his home in Montana to shoot and hunt. He's a smart guy but just doesn't give a ****.

He might change his mind if he were to ever be locked up due to CA law. Now that the Feds do not have LEO power in ElDo I agree he is probably safer-ish to go shooting up there.

More here, about a third of the way down

A “regulation” is any rule, regulation, order or standard of general application or the amendment, supplement, or revision of any rule, regulation, order, or standard adopted by any state agency to implement, interpret, or make specific the law enforced or administered by it. When adopting regulations, the Department must follow the rulemaking procedures in the Administrative Procedure Act (APA), unless expressly exempted by statute.

So, it might be the case, for some FFLs, that some preparation could have been completed before now.
COE issuance: LiveScan 1/5/18, applied 1/6/18 and received 1/16/18 including the holiday weekend.
