I love the sporting rifle platform, it's awesome!
I interpret out of many threads that it may be helpful to post a consolidated list of things you can not do with a rifle that would become registered. Aside from being on another list, that is. More of a practical cheat sheet.
For example - transporting, where you can/can't use, the fact that you can't sell or give to family, can you cross state lines and come back, hunt with it, shoot on BLM, etc.....
Also, my assumption is you can 'de-register' it at a later date (go featureless). That's good if one wants to transfer, sell, or will to a family member.
Let's say you choose to get on that DOJ list: For now.
How does this limit your practical use - because we want to USE our hardware. These aren't guns that sit in a safe for some sort of future alien attack.
I ask because many feel they have only part of the answer,
