Historical featureless question

Since we've had featureless for a long time now has anyone ever known of someone being popped with a featureless rifle because of a LEO's ignorance of the law? Has anyone ever been questioned at a range, BLM or forest land?

I think Richards of Haynie/Richards fame fits you're example. IIRC he was arrested for M1A with a brake. Twice!

There's a mess of results in search and I can't figure which one is most relevant/accurate. IIRC he was arrested TWICE for the same M1A with brake.

With all the countless threads/arguments of new regs etc I'm just wondering if all the hysteria is even warranted....nothing more.

When citizens misinterpret the law it's jail and huge legal fees, when LEO does the same its an "error". Remember always that you can beat the rap but not necessarily the ride.

The answer is to get out there and shoot, and get as many people as possible into the mix. Hopefully when the "issues" come the Calguns Foundation can get into some more gun owner representation and lawsuits and cool it a bit on the time and energy going into protecting the interests of gun shops and other commercial gun businesses.

If so it's so trifling it might as well be nonexistent.

Of course there are boatloads of "do you wanna be a test case" comments... But if there were significant examples, this forum would be filled with threads pages and pages long.
