Not to mention, the Savage rifle is far better looking and no cop EVER is going to come sniffing your way to it's looks.

So, what is the freeking point of the bolt-action AR-15?

What's the point of paying $$$$ to own a gun that is "evil" looking, and attracts LE attention, if the gun does absolutely NOTHING that the original AR was designed to do? It'd be like having a beautiful wife or girlfriend that wouldn't even let you touch her.

If I had my way, I'd have every gun owner in the USA boycott these manufacturers that are designing AR-15's that don't function as AR's. It seems no different to me than that company that was making the stupid handgun that only functions when the owner was wearing some kind of RF bracelet. As I recall, almost every gun shop was refusing to handle that gun, and for good reason.
The absolute LAST thing the gun industry and gun owners want to be doing, is spending big money and time in order to accomodate these ridiculous anti-2nd laws. This money and time needs to be spent on courts and attorneys to fight and destroy these laws.

    A bolt-action AR15, is not an AR15. A bolt-action AR15 is to a real AR-15, like a blow-up doll is to a real woman.

^^ careful, people here will call you a sellout or "part of the problem" lol

To each their own. If you don't like them, that's cool. Don't buy them.

I am at least thankful that manufacturers are willing to give those of us "behind enemy lines" some options. It's not a true AR15, no, but at least we, and those who didn't get a chance to own an AR bofore 2017, get a chance to own something *close* to an AR.

Relax, buddy! I didn't say I agreed with it.

I read in a prior post something about a bolt action AR rifle, so I posted the link.
Sorry, I'm late. I didn't want to come.

No kidding! People take things out of context way too much on here.
