                        The current lack of suppressors doesn't seem to be a hindrance to bad guys, so why would "gun" related crimes increase if they were available.
                        Silencers are expensive BECAUSE they're regulated so there's a small market for them. What do you think would happen if the demand for them went through the roof? Companies that don't currently produce them would start to dabble in what could be another revenue stream. New companies would form solely to make them. There'd be so much competition that it would drive prices down.

                        Gun related crimes wouldn't increase. That's just what the swine tell their constituents to keep them afraid and willing to surrender their personal freedoms to their overlords.
