    Recall Sen. Kevin de Leon

    Guys

What is the process of recalling a public official (like Sen. De Leon and others) who fails to adhere to the law of the land?

He and his colleagues keeps pushing, attacking, bulling pro-2nd Amendment law abiding citizens.

I mean who isn't sick and tired of being bullied?
We are always always on the defensive and trying to adhere to their unconstitutional laws

why don't we take the offensive and bring the fight back to them.

I mean when will Enough be enough?

I say we push to have him recalled first (then we move on to the next anti-gun Democrat and so on)
if it takes 365,000 petitions to do it, then lets do it.

You're upset with him. I get it.

He can't be recalled because he is popular in his district by a large margin. That's what we call in constitutional terms "representation". From a certain point of view he shouldn't be recalled since his job is to represent.

It's tempting to make it personal but your beef is with the voters in his district. And they can't be recalled.

I mean, Trump is the GOP nominee, anything is possible, but no, Brown will not be recalled. I don't know anything about Newsom's election margin. Even if it was 50/50 most people aren't upset about the gun laws.

Here's the procedure from the Secretary of State - http://www.sos.ca.gov/elections/reca...cal-officials/

The people who could have for voted the legislator are the same people who must vote to throw him/her out, and the same people who must select a replacement.

              DeLeon represents Senate District 24.

The April registration report for that district is 57% D, 10% R.

In 2014, only D ran for S24; DeLeon defeated Choi about 57K to 30K.

                    From De Leon's webpage...

Didn't you know he is a tenacious champion of the people. I'm sure it was real hard work running those tough gun control bills through our legislature, trying to convince all those liberals to vote for his gun bills.

The NRA should offer $100,000 rewards for any negative information which results in the conviction and/or resignation of these corrupt union-owned anti-2A hacks...

Time to go ghost gun hunting.

If he is put up for recall, the campaign finance limits are gone and as I understand it Bloomberg has promised a $5M check. So if the effort fails, it will only make him stronger.

that being said, it's not impossible. just takes some strategy.

Also, note that he believes "the most stringent gun control policies in a generation" are also "sensible."
