People's Veto of Gunmageddon Petition is coming!!!

We are in a war with Suckramento and the crooks that want to take away our 2nd amendment rights. We no longer have represention in our state. It up to us as law abiding firearms owners. Follow this link:

We need at least 400,000 signatures from people that are registered to vote to get this people's veto on the ballot in November and we need them by Sept. 29. We can do this, we can make history here folks. Ask your local gun shops and ranges to sponsor this petition. Please, and I can't stress this enough, REGISTER to VOTE and check the box vote absentee. If you don't vote absentee you need to start. That has a paper trail and cannot be hacked. Electronic voting can and I wouldn't put it past the powers that be to hack the elections. We also need to defeat the "Safety for all" proposition that Gavin Newsome garnered 600,000 signatures that put it on the November ballot. If this passes and we don't overturn the other 6 laws we are DOOMED. Call and email your State Senator, Assemblyperson and the Governors office weekly. Become a thorn in their sides. Let them them know your displeasure with them. Even if they voted against those nasty bills that are wreaking havoc with your civil rights.
We must be a force to reckon with or we'll lose everything. Talk to you family and your neighbors. Explain to them the dangers of these bills and propositions. In order for us to be a force it's going to take all hands on deck my friends. If we don't stand up and defeat them the next thing that will happen in this state is confiscation. Think it can't happen here??? Just look what is happening in Massachusetts with their so called "Assault Weapons ban". It is this Governor and the California state legislature's unrelenting goal to do just that and they are moving very fast. The Courts are filled with liberal judges and the Federal Courts are not hearing state gun legislation cases because they say it's states rights. The Supreme Court lost it's 2nd amendment champion earlier this year and if Hillary is elected she will pack the court with liberal justices (possibly 3) that will gut the constitution for the next 4 generations and I know there are some of you that don't like Mr. Trump. Well, I'm not too crazy about him either but look at the alternative. Look at his list of possible picks for the court. So that leaves us. We used to have a saying when I was in the Navy: "There's no justice, there's just US." We can no longer be a silent majority. We must roar as loud as we can with one voice.
This election is not just about picking our next president, it's about our children's, grand children's and great grandchildren's rights, freedom and the future of our state and country. So vote and take your friends and family to the polls.

P.S. I realize that there are registered democrats that are firearms owners and there are many of you. I know that in talking to some of you, you think that working with liberal politicians to massage these gun laws is your preference. I respect that. But don't be fooled. These politicians have no inclination to do so. Make no mistake. Their only goal it to make every firearm owned by law abiding citizens illegal throughout the state and they will say and do anything to accomplish that goal and they are being driven by monetary forces from outside the state that can't buy what they want in Washington D.C.. Just to let you know I am a constitutional conservative not a Republican. They left me, I didn't leave them a long time ago.

We need 400,000 VALID signatures from registered voters, so we need more than the required amount to offset invalid signatures. We need 500K, 600K would probably guarantee victory.

Everyone in amthe 2A subforum knows about this. If people want to spread the word how about taking this to the othet subforums where people who dont know about the movement will be informed. A less long winded frat version would be preferred.

Will there be an option to print the forms ourselves to mail somewhere?

365k to be exact but they all have to be by people registered to vote. That is why I said 400k minimum. 500 to 600k would be outstanding and your right it would guarantee it gets on the November ballot.

Sorry but no. The California proposition system doesn't work that way with it's checks and balances.

                      Hi Craig,

I was just reinforcing the fact we need valid signatures. Who knows what details any Registrar could use to disqualify a signature. We just need as many signers as we can get, and for those people to print legibly and with the same name and address as it appears at the Registrar (which appears on your sample ballots). If our valid percentages are high, 450K might be just enough, but we should try for 550K-600K. Regarding print at home ballots, its actually been done before and it could've been done now, but the formatting must be just right. Any mistakes will disqualify the whole form and all the signatures on it. Going to a printer, and tightly controlling them, is a very prudent method.

I've registered and I will sign it. But its hopeless. Even if we do make it onto the ballot its gonna get shot down like a Russian SU-34 invading our airspace. I want Trump to win also but he's way behind in the polls, and I just know that Hillary is going to win by a landslide.

                            Not hopeless

It isn't hopeless. It is if we give up, but don't. Pledge to get 20-50-100 signatures. Come on it's really not that hard. I'm shooting for 200. There is a chance I could hit a 1000 by recruiting a few to do what I will. We can do this and even if we are to late for the ballot but qualify they have to put off the laws two years!

I will point out that we have already made more people aware of voting against Prop 63 and when we go after signatures we will energize a lot of folks who might have felt like you and not even voted.

If we look at the numbers for the recent primary about 49% of the state's 17.9 million registered voters actually participated. November will probably be a lot lower so large numbers of Pro 2A folks can make a distinct impact if they get out and vote.
