Good cause for Issuance

Hello All,

I am looking to register my AR pistol. You see it is a custom 9MM AR pistol (reg pistol in CA) which will not support anything but custom 10 round magazines. It also has all of the evil features this new bill will outlaw. I am tired of workarounds and would like to register it as RAW in CA.

Are there any good examples of "good cause" for issuance I could review to see what has been accepted in the past.

Also the dangerous weapon form asks for my employers and supervisors does that mean they are gong to call and interview my supervisors?

The registration period for AW does not open until 1/1/2017 - if you have a form, it is the wrong one. DOJ has not introduced the exact method they'll use to get them registered, whether it be paper form, or online. Just out of curiosity, what's the form number?

Did you recently move to CA? If so, you should be filling out the New Resident form right now, which can be found here: http://oag.ca.gov/sites/all/files/ag.../ab991frm.pdf?

I registered it as a pistol when I moved here and had to modify it so as to not scare anyone in this state

That is the wrong form. The form for AW registration has not been made public as of yet. Stand by for more answers in the coming months. We are all in the same sinking boat.
