    Range Trip 2017

There's been a lot of discussion on registration vs load-reduction boat trips and other options.

The biggest impact might well be on those weekend range trips.

Will the range employees stare at your mag during safety checks? If they see a clear window with 28 rounds in it, what will they do?

If they see no bullet button on a featured AR or AK, what will they do?

    Any other situations to discuss?

Depends on the range. Then it depends on the range master.

Some ranges don't care cause they don't enforce the law while some range thinks they are the law and enforces laws that don't even exist.

So same answer as above regarding bullet button.

Yeah depends on the range. Although that doesn't mean there couldn't be an off duty cop that does care.

Only use public ranges the proclaim they are not Police officers or Lawyers, they do not know what is legal or not. Only that you, the shooter, are safe and you follow the Range rules. Any other Range does not deserve your business and it is actually agreeing with the anti-gun Rulers of this state with tacit approval.

Angeles will probably police everyone. Down south they leave us alone. They don't ask if you are LEO or not either.

The guys at Iron Sites told me they are not cops and do not enforce laws for them. Stay off the steel and .50 BMG's and they are A-ok.

Sac Valley Shooting Center has a little cardboard box with a sign that reads something to the effect
Official high capacity magazine drop-off location. It's for the children
Of course the box is empty!

Does enforce mean kicking you out or pushing the red button under the desk to summon a cop?

Or overzealous plain clothes officers, from various agencies, looking to be heroes.
