Per this news report an SFPD officer was arrested for manufacturing an assault rifle and possessing an assault rifle.

Wonder what really happened.

Could it have just been his failure to keep a bullet button installed?

Sounds like his fellow officers turned him in... ACK!

almost every officer I know thinks they are exempt, until i show them otherwise, or have them show me what exactly exempts them

All cops have to do is register the weapon with the DOJ and have permission from their chief. Besides that that can pretty much own any rifle, chief perhaps didn't like him too much to let it get to ATF.

Remember how mentally deficient those making laws in Commyfornia are.

All it takes to "manufacture and illegal assault weapon". Is to place a perfectly legal to own 10+ round magazine. Into the mag well, of a perfectly legal to own AR that has a perfectly legal BB.

Once it's on the books even the most stupid Ch!t law imaginable will sooner or later be enforced by some LEO.

Maybe a few thousand more cops getting arrested for this stupid Ch!t. And just maybe LEOs will start forming the opinion that DemTards, that they support with their Union dollars and PR appearances. Aren't really their friends. But only see them as useful idiots.
