    So. Cal. Phoenix Project?

    All,

I have Anaheim Pro 2A Rally flyers printed and ready to distribute.

Who/what is Southern CA Phoenix Project? Talking points/ script would be good to have because I know it's going to be asked.

    Thanks

This was a super rough draft that I wrote up brainstorming with the group. It is not finished and another member add a lot of points that I will put up later.

Bababoris if you want this post to go in a different direction let me know and I'll pull this down in favor of different content.

I was calling/emailing (whatever means I can contact them) to gain support for the Constitutional support/2nd Amendment rally we will be having on the 23rd of July. The rally is going to take place at La Palma park in Anaheim. It will be put on by several members of the Calguns online firearm community. We are still in the process of obtaining sponsors for this rally but so far we have speakers from the Calguns association and the Pink Pistols. Our message is primarily about the unconstitutional attacks on our 2nd amendment, specifically about AB XYZ and SB XYZ that do nothing to prevent crime. We also want to raise awareness about California's reduction of gun theft to a misdemeanor while claiming to crack down on "gun violence". It will be a peaceful rally and we are asking our members to keep aggressive posters and flags at home. We would very much appreciate your support by means of speaking at our rally or sponsorship by attendance. I know you're a very busy individual but hopefully you can take an hour or so out of your day to support freedom and the Constitution of our great country.

      That's good info thanks.

But I will be hitting up gun shops and ranges in So. Cal asking them to allow me to put the flyer up in their businesses.

The header of the flyer in bold red font reads, Southern California Phoenix Project.

It would be good to know what/who they are.

All I know is they are pro 2A.

What I've gathered after helping organize the event for a while is that we are a group primarily of calgunners who have put together a rally in support of the 2nd Amendment.

I came in after the group was created and the rally was in the works. We didn't really have a welcome post or email so I'm not sure if this is entirely accurate.

After the conference call we had this afternoon I have a more detailed mission for the rally as well as the over objectives of the Phoenix Project. I just copied and pasted this because I'm tired af. I've been typing and sending emails all day... Please let me know if you have any questions about the group or the rally.

The Phoenix Project is group of members from the online firearm community Calguns.org that have put together a permitted and insured rally in support of the second amendment. We have three speakers (but are always open to having more) lined up to discuss our three main objectives.

          These objectives are as follows:
          1) File the referendums necessary to repeal SB-1235, AB-1511, SB-1446 and SB-880, etc...
          2) Once the referendum has been filed we intend to take the fight to Washington using our previously filed referendum
          3) Set the ground work and raise funds to recall the officials responsible for the offending legislation.

This will be a completely peaceful rally. To ensure we are sending a positive message, avoiding aggression, negativity or any other form of hostility we have requested that Molon Labe flags, 3% gear, holsters(empty or otherwise), confederate flags and even camouflage gear be left at home. We're hoping to have a family friendly rally that energizes people to actively participate in the political fight for our second amendment.

We also plan on having various food trucks and music for family members and rally goers alike. Depending on the amount of support received we plan on having booths for raffles, games, vendors and other entertainment type activities (still pending final coordination).

Our rally will be held on the 23rd of July at La Palma Park in Anaheim, California from 10:00am to 1:00pm.
