Thank you Kes. As a former CRPA member, I never thought the CRPA was malicious, just ineffective and out of touch, which is why I stopped renewing.

I am glad things are changing for the better, hopefully, it is not too late.

As of right now I will be on both the Communications and Technology Committee and the Shooting Sports Support Committee via appointment. I am also wrangling for a spot on the Legislative Policy Committee so I would be able to bring more accurate info back to forum members.

I'm honestly not sure how many Directors there are now but I've been told that the Board has been trimmed down a fair bit from the 50+ Directors it had a few years ago.
Looking at the CRPA web site it looks like there are roughly 35 people on the BoD. The list on the site does not include either Jacob or me.

As I've seen in other threads, it seems people here seem to be a bit, sit at home and complain online. I have been guilty of this for far too many years.

I guess rebuilding things need to start at the bottom. What can I do, to help? Are there places I can volunteer my time and expertise. My wife would say I'm already too busy, but I'm getting pissed that I'm sitting at home and powerless to do anything.

Was great to see Chuck Michel in his new position and the good work he's been doing. Better connections between Calguns and CRPA is the first way
to unify for effect.

You can go to there website at www.crpa.org. You can join there the dues are very reasonable and the monthly magazine is very nice. I've been a member for several years and they just keep getting better. Unlike some e-mails from gun orgs. they are actually in the fight. JMO

I'm glad to hear there is an effort to create a "unified" effort which I felt was sorely lacking in many of the orgs associated with 2A support in Kalifornia, The Democratic Peoples Republic of.

I believe Chuck is a good choice and maybe in the future I may join....

I let my 5 yr membership lapse (was a member a few times previous to that) because of all the infighting which I became aware of through this site. But after hearing Michel became president, I renewed for another 5 yrs. Kes, you're in a unique position to hear the voices of so many gun owners being owner of this site. I hope that becomes a tool for which you can use. Gods speed.

Just do ONE thing. Make CRPA or the NRA hire a top legal firm to formulate a short, mid and long term strategy on how to fight this thru the courts.
