Should we still celebrate the 4th of July in California?

Quite ironic that Jerry Brown signed away our Second Amendment freedoms right before the 4th of July.

Should we still celebrate the holiday in California? What exactly is left to celebrate? It is a holiday that was supposed to commemorate the signing of documents that no longer apply in California. I don't plan to fly the American Flag this fourth of July because America as it was no longer exists. We are no longer free on so many levels. Our First, Second, Fourth, Fifth, Tenth and Fourteenth Amendments no longer exist as originally intended.

I think it makes more sense to fly a Gadsen Flag or the Pine Tree Flag over the US Flag on pretty much any occasion these days... 4th of July especially.

I will still proudly fly the American flag on the 4th of July. I am the father of two combat Marines who fought under and for that flag and all that it represents. As for celebrating in CA, there is nothing to celebrate in CA this weekend.

I'm seriously starting to think that we need to celebrate it as the "second iteration". Our government has lost it's mission to protect the Constitution. It is currently corrupt and invalid. The people's responsibility is to remove this trash from office.

The ballot box is next, but should that fail, I fear for what it will mean for this state and the country. Politicians have decided to go "all in". It's a dangerous all or nothing bet that could end up with a lot of blood spilled.

Rally EVERYONE you know. Get them to think long and hard about why they continue to vote for "D's". If you support the 2A, or the Constitution in general, you need to prioritize. Abortion is a safe and solved issue. It isn't going anywhere even if the state suddenly went 100% red. Your 2A rights are on the verge of going out for the count-forever.

NO MORE EXCUSES. EVERY gun supporter needs to get out and vote out this trash. EVERY gun owner needs to talk to EVERYONE they know and convince as many as possible to vote out this trash. We NEED 100% turn out at this next election. If CA doesn't even up going against the Democratic Presidential candidate in this next election we have failed. We need a clean sweep of state and federal offices.

Get to it. Spread the word. War has been declared.

If you want to celebrate Independence, you actually have to man up, have the testicular fortitude, and be independent.

In the past, they had to toss tea into the harbor, tar and feather tax men, and face down the most powerful army in the world.
