California is a one party state now. The Republicans have conceded this State as lost.

No Republican has been elected to statewide office for years, unless you count Arnold as an R.

Aaanauld was an [R]. He considers RINO as his party of choice.

I think I might count myself lucky if Nicolas Maduro isn't elected governor.

Unfortunately, if you want your vote to have any chance of accomplishing anything at the statewide level in California, you have to be willing to vote for the least bad Democrat. Even if it means voting for a squishy kinda-sorta-not-completely-against-guns Democrat like Jerry Brown.

Does it even matter? Even if a Republican could get elected in California, they are pretty much guaranteed to be a RINO. My assemblymember is a Republican... yep... voted in favor of the gunpocalypse. Freedom loving Americans in California have one representative: themselves. Do what you want regardless of the law because there is nobody in our state representing your interests.

Yes, it matters. Never vote for a Democrat for Governor or any other public office. All democrat politicians are liberals and all are anti-gun. They may sound nice, they may sound "least bad", but this is the plain truth of it.

If you are registered Independent or Democrat, change your registration to Republican and don't be afraid to tell your friends and family about it.

Everything else amounts to giving up.

Yes, I realize the Republican party has limited resources in Calif., and at the national level probably realizes it can get more for its efforts elsewhere. Never mind. Vote Republican anyway. You are not "sending a message" or "getting even" by voting Democrat or some tiny 3rd party.

the last state wide election held here brought about a "startling" revelation: the city of Temecula's AG announced that their voting machines were hacked and republican votes were changed to democrat...geeeeeeee...who'd thunk it

the article is in the Valley Outlook July 17 edition if you care to look it up.

IMO, that's how the dems have stayed in power...by lying, cheating and coercion.

repubs don't seem a lot better, but seems to be more in favor of letting people live their own lives and are much less prone to extort $$$$ for their "Programs".

Correct, and in El Lay, the dead rise from their graves and vote, at each election.

And liberals complain about voter ID, as if it prevents "minorities" from voting. Not true. It prevents voter fraud.
