Thank your neighbor and fellow gun owners for passing Prop 63. For that gun control is a winning legislative agenda.

The thread makes sense if you look at California changing over the last 20-30 years. Are you saying the OP is incorrect, or just posted in the wrong part of calguns.net?

The majority of the replies definitely agree with the OP.

Enjoy your state as it continues to wash down the drain.

California has gone two steps past full retard, not sure how to define those extra two steps, maybe the black hole of retardation where all things are sucked into the abyss

If they can now participate in the insurance, pay their 'fair' portion, then maybe there will be less you and I have to support.

Yes, but not due to the insurance thing. We went 'round the bend in this Sate many decades ago.

As for the insurance, I personally believe that people should not be prohibited from purchasing insurance.

Such charm from a lot of you free people in your free states.

                      California's government sucks. Thanks captain obvious #1 - 500.

Wrong part of the forum = yes.

It's a troll title in a totally unrelated subject for CalGUNS. But you smug people keep right on encouraging it. IDC that much, just like calling em out.

If it helps I'm still in California and the California government sucks and the only way you'll taste freedom is if you move. So it's not just people that are out of state saying that now.

This will simply allow hospitals to bill insurance agencies for services provided to undocumented individuals, previously they could only sell their uncollected debts to collection agencies for pennies on the dollar. The burden of the increased cost is passed on to those who actually pay a premium for their coverage - if you qualify for Medi-cal, depending on your household income you may have a small share-of-cost.

On a side note, CA legislature also decided to terminate the MFG laws: children born to families receiving CalWORKS/TANF will be able to qualify for additional grants effective 1/1/17.
After years of tireless work to see one of California’s most discriminatory laws repealed, today women and families across the state are rejoicing in news that Gov. Jerry Brown, Senate President Pro Tem Kevin de León, and Assembly Speaker Anthony Rendon agreed to include funds to repeal CalWORKs Maximum Family Grant (MFG) rule in the state's 2016 Budget Act.

Ok, do you see any realistic way to reverse the collectivist disregard for laws that affect people liberals like, and increased enforcement of statutorily protected classes, like gun owners? I don't. I see positive feedback loops that will only make things get worse.
