    Protest June 3 in Sacramento

To show the Senate pigs with their faces in the trough of tyranny, that we WILL NOT COMPLY with their anti Second Amendment Laws!!!

This BULL**** has gone far enough!. Its time for the 3% to SHOW UP OR SHUT UP.

    LOGISTICS

    1. PLAN TO RALLY AT FREMONT PARK.
    2. WE LEAVE AT 10.00AM SHARP TO THE CAPITOL BUILDING AT 1315 10th ST, SACRAMENTO - A WALK OF ABOUT 3 BLOCKS VIA 16th ST
    3. WEST ON CAPITOL AVENUE TOWARDS CAPITOL BUILDING.
    4. ON REACHING CAPITOL STEPS, WE TRAVERSE THE GROUNDS TO THE FRONT OF THE BUILDING ON 10th ST.

    SEE YOU THERE.

    MOLON LABE
    SI VIS PACEM PARA BELLUM

SUGGESTIONS for a PEACEFUL RALLY folks.

    1. No cammo or tac gear.
    2. No guns or holsters or even toy guns.
    3. No signs that say crap like "come and take 'em" or "molon labe" or "from my cold dead hands"
    4. Dress somewhat presentably. If you want to be taken seriously, at least try to look somewhat professional.
    5. The only flag that matters is the flag of the United States of America. If you feel the need to fly flags, that is the one you should fly. the California state flag is also acceptable. Revolutionary flags such as 13 star 13 stripes and Gadsden flags at your discretion.
    6. NO GUNS AT THIS TIME - EVEN IF CCW HOLDER, AS I AM, PLEASE LEAVE IT AT HOME, OR IN THE CAR. WE DON'T WANT ANYONE ARRESTED OR WORSE, SHOT!
NOW IS NOT THE TIME FOR VIOLENCE.

We have all seen the 2A gatherings that make just about all gun owners cringe. Let's not make this another. We are trying to win hearts and minds. We want to show that these draconian laws affect everyone ... ordinary citizens ... neighbors ... teachers ... businesspeople ... doctors ... mothers ... daughters ... etc.

Not just upper-middle-aged overweight militia folks.

Sorry ... but that truly is the perception of pro-2A rallies among moderates.

Is this impromptu, or is there a permit for a rally/protest on the Capitol grounds?

Is the legislature in session on the 3rd? That would be optimal.

                Yes.

Note that all of Capitol Park is a no-CCW zone per state statute.

Checked the calendar. June 3rd is the last day for both houses to pass bills in the house. Both houses will be in session.

Do you think that the legislators will come out and toast some marshmallows and sing Kumbaya with you?

Sometimes the law defends plunder and participates in it. Sometimes the law places the whole apparatus of judges, police, prisons and gendarmes at the service of the plunderers, and treats the victim -- when he defends himself -- as a criminal. Bastiat

Ok I would love to attend, however I'm overweight I'm a big calguns fan. I work in weapons program for DOE. Own several guns. According to Calguns I'm not welcome at this event? Is that right?

I'd judge the comment as both sexist and ageist for starters. I'm not overweight, but I think I'd be a bit pissed were I. Does that make the comment weightist?

                        Sad.

                              LOL!!

Yeah, this event will be a big waste of time and money. I should know as I lived in CA back when we had rallies at the state capitol building, after Ruby Ridge, ID and Waco, Tx, before and after the Assualt Weapons Ban of 1994.

I will tell you what will happen. Nothing. At. All. The bills will go through, and if you are lucky Gov. Brown might not sign some of them, but he will sign many of them.

In the end it wont matter, as in 2019 Newsom will sign off on all of them. Next up it will be those easy to conceal handguns, like in the 1970's gun-grab on "Saturday Night Specials". What a hell of a mess that debacle was!

BTW, you will be photographed and recorded both by the media and the CA government photographers who will be up on the roof of the capitol building, and probably milling about in the crowd undercover.

And these days, post 9/11, you can expect a few snipers to be around likely, as well as lots of law-enforcement, both uniformed and undercover. Your facial images will go into a facial recognition program for future use.

Walmart already uses it for shoplifters. You will be tagged as a gun-owner, which will make it easier to identify you & your home, when they start kicking in doors, to confiscate your firearms, later on when they come a' calling.

Then some dumb-asses will bring the Gadsden Flag, and you will have your wanna-be soldiers wearing GI floppy hats and the like. Stick a fork in it: California will soon be a "gun-free" state for law-abiding people, not the gangs. Best to move now, because its not going to change in your lifetimes.

Glad I got the hell out of that insane nanny-state. Stick a fork in it, its done.
