    Politician records

Is there an easily accessible site to find out which state politicians voted for or against a particular law? This is an election year, and we have a great deal more power if light is shown on just how the senate and assembly votes on gun laws.

Each bill page has a tab that shows who voted for or against a particular bill. For example http://leginfo.legislature.ca.gov/fa...201520160AB156

But the easy way to remember it is this: for gun control bills, if there is a (D) after their name they voted for it, and if there an (R) after their name they voted against it.
      Revolvers are not pistols

pistol nouna handgun whose chamber is integral with the barrel
Calling a revolver a "pistol" is like calling a magazine a "clip", calling a shotgun a rifle, or a calling a man a woman.

Remember that many of the bills were "gut and amends," which is why they had near-unanimous support in past votes.

You do of course realize that because of prop 14 in 2010 the only candidates that will be on the ballot will have a D after their name. That wonderful proposition makes the top two vote getters in the primary move on. Not one from each party just the top two. Sort of a moot point
