    Illegal Taking - just *****ing

I have a safe queen Steyr GB with parkerized finish in like new condition. Pretty rare itself, but apparently aftermarket mags are not available which makes the original the 18 rd mags are even rarer than the gun - they sell for upwards of $100 each on GB.

While I can PPT the gun, I cannot sell the mags with it unless I sell to an exempt person or ruin them by pinning to 10 rounds.

Just *****ing that our great state has totally screwed me over by ruining the collectable value of my property.

I remember way back in the 80s when a shop was closing those out at under $300.

What is crazy is that you can't even put them up for sale to an out-of-state buyer. However, you can drive to another state and put them up for sale of sell them.

I wish I had Trump money. I would be suing the crap out of the State and getting these laws thrown out.

Yup, I can export the mags then sell them, but have to sell the gun from CA. Sucks.

Besides ruining their value, why can't I pin them?

The last time I read the bill the ban included ALL magazines that at one time could have held (originally manufactured to hold) more than 10 rounds.

              Has the language changed?

                lol which bill?

i think there are 2 separate bills in place - if i recall. one to totally ban "grandfathered" mags, a second to ban all original manufactured mags to hold over 10 rounds, soooo no more 10/30 mags, no more pinned SSE mags, etc

Yes, it looks like they struck that language out.

                      Takings issue.

Well if they can just "take" our magazines, why not the guns or any other property also?

For example, what about "Classic Cars".
After all, someone could argue some "enviro wacko" stuff.

This is more than just "gun rights", it is now "property rights".
Most people will only get involved if it "effects them".

Property rights "effect" a lot of people.
