    What's keeping you in California?

For me, it's definitely job. I have a pretty sweet job, love all my coworkers like they're my family, get really good benefits and a lot of vacation. Tough to give it all up. I'm still young, so unfortunately 30+ more years until retirement.

Also, is there some gun law which would make you throw away everything instantly leave? For me, if they started mandating liability insurance for gun ownership, that might be the straw that breaks the camel's back for me. Are there people who would stay even if they effectively ban all firearms? Just curious.

Job. With a second vote to family.

I've been working as a Firefighter for 30 years, a couple more and I'll retire.

After that I'll be pushing my wife to move. It's not just gun issues that make me want to leave, I'm getting real tired of the socialist/liberals who are running this state( into the ground)

          All the above.
But it won't let me choose all of them.

The war isn't won yet---and I'm too old, too tired and too broke.

I've put to much effort, years, and monies into our fight...so here we are.

            Respectfully,
            Kyle

I'm stuck here because I'm in the military.

Job is keeping me here. As soon as I can line one up elsewhere... we're gone.

Anti-2A legislation isn't even at the top of my list for leaving... but it helps.

Immediate family but my wife and I are already planning on moving to AZ shortly. Even family can't hold me in this state any more.

Jobs primarily for me, not just mine but my fiancee's as well. I would be happy moving to Alaska or some place else remote and doing something in the great outdoors but that would leave fewer options for her and I don't think she'd be a fan of the weather. Presently I despise my job but she loves hers and wants to spend more time there. There is also family, my parents are in Sacramento and her's are in LA. Her dad is getting old and my parents want to have grand kids that don't live too far away.

Not so easy to just pick up and go.

                        Same boat here, almost finished.
Going to leave nice property to kids who can manage it as they see fit, and am in process of acquiring another ranch out of state. Will take the wife, toys, horses, and a few farm animals when we go.
The day I turn in all my work gear will hopefully be the day we leave for good.
This liberal, swine-sodomizing canine excuse for a state is so bad I won't even bother to flush the toilet on my way out.

If I could talk my wife into moving the house would go on the market ASAP, however we have grandkids in the area so my wife says no. I am retired with a good pension and our house is paid for.
