From the wording in this latest post about the NRA rewriting fairy tales, the audience targeted is the non-stakeholder to the
'Safety for All' initiative since they are the people most likely to be influenced by misinformation given on the 'Safety for All'
website.

During the drafting of the 'Safety for All' initiative all potential allies should have been identified and brought into the campaign
coalition early by Newsom, especially political organizations that have credibility with the public like LE organizations. Over
confidence, misreading of public sentiment, and not understanding even for California how overreaching this initiative actually is may
have set false expectations in the minds of the 'Safety for All' campaign that any stakeholders would come to the 'Safety for All'
campaign, and the 'Safety for All' campaign need not go to them.

Either LE organizations were not contacted by the 'Safety for All' initiative campaign during the drafting of the initiative to get
their opinions, or LE organizations were contacted and did express an opinion on the 'Safety for All' initiative campaign where
Newsom simply ignored their feedback, and went ahead anyway with all the original elements of the initiative that were proposed by
The Law Center to Prevent Gun Violence.

LE organizations as stakeholders in the outcome of the 'Safety for All' ballot initiative were not influenced by the misleading
information from the 'Safety for All' campaign, and subsequently the 'Safety for All' campaign got blowback from the Los Angeles
Association of Deputy District Attorneys (ADDA), the California State Sheriffs Association (CSSA), and the California Fish and Game
Wardens’ Association (CFGWA), and San Bernardino County Sheriff John McMahon.

Newsom cannot attempt to discredit the LE organizations who have publicly announced opposition to his initiative in order to gain
support his 'Safety for All' ballot initiative. When his initiative fails he needs the NRA to blame 100% for his failure when
actually a significant negative impact for his 'Safety for All' initiative is coming from the direct public opposition from LE
organizations. Now Newsom needs the NRA to blame as political cover even though in this instance the NRA had nothing to do with
Newsom painting himself into a corner. He did that all on his own.
