Senate Race: Who Is The Best Republican To Beat Kamala?

I read a lot of chatter here about the next Governor race in 2018. But what about this year's all important Senate race?
Who, of the declared Republican candidates, has any chance at winning? Is there a complete lack of name recognition?None of their names ring a bell.

It is pretty hard to see how a Republican wins statewide in California these days. Even well funded liberal Republicans fail. The Republican party just doesn't appeal to the population pockets that dominate California. Until that changes, having a Republican on the ballot is just to keep the CAGOP from admitting they are almost irrelevant.

          How sad is that?

Oops, Maybe this is just for reelection of their respective offices.

I'm very much hoping Kamala Harassment wins the seat. She will have less powers for her Anti-2nd Amendment agenda there than here. As CA Attorney General, while not able to make legislation, she has had an overpowering hand in abusing her role to bitterly scalp gun owners and apply her mark of Anti-2nd Amendment agenda and enforcement beyond reason. She has even gone out of that role of typically remaining neutral to support Anti-2nd Amendment legislation in writing as well as Newom's NeoSocialist initiative.

Can't wait to see her leave.

If some level of government had that information, what would they do with it? How would having that info benefit public safety? How would it benefit law enforcement?

US Senate elections have not been competitive in California for more than 20 years.

In 1999 there were 6.7 million registered Democrats and 5.1 million registered Republicans.

In 2016 there are 7.4 million registered Democrats (an increase of 700,000 since 1999) and 4.7 million registered Republicans (a decrease of 400,000 since 1999). No party preference has increased from 1.9 million to 4.1 million since 1999. Democrats have a 2.7 million voter advantage over Republicans in California. A California Republican candidate would have to capture more than half of the independent vote just to be competitive in a statewide election.
                Revolvers are not pistols

pistol nouna handgun whose chamber is integral with the barrel
Calling a revolver a "pistol" is like calling a magazine a "clip", calling a shotgun a rifle, or a calling a man a woman.

It would be nice to get Condi Rice to run against Harris.

That is an issue, but Republicans talk about all kinds of things that equally annoy most people in CA. Which is pretty much anything that a Democrat doesn't say.
