    Good ol California Legislature

AB 1663: will expand the assault weapons ban to include semi-automatic centerfire rifles capable of accepting detachable magazines, including ALL "Bullet Button" or mag-locked firearms, as well as many curio and relics like the M1 Carbine and other similar firearms.

AB 1664: will ban all semi-automatic rifles that are equipped with a bullet button or other mag-locking device.

AB 1674: will make it a crime to attempt to purchase more than one firearm of any type within a 30-day period and delete the private party transaction exemption to the 30-day prohibition.

They are now heading to the Appropriations committee and we need all the support we can get to beat them.

Common sense, common courtesy, and common cause.
Too bad they're no longer common!

Why do you blame these on "Moonbeam"? They're the product
    of the Legislature.

Titles like that just make us look stupid.

Frankly I'd hope and think he has enough sense to veto these, as
he's vetoed other really bad gun bills.

Be glad he's there, because after that it's Newsom, Kamala, or
    Villaraigosa.

Agree. And there are already so many threads succintly addressing these issues without ridiculous titles.

If anything, the guy that pitched California launching and managing it's own sattellite systems for communications decades before few other people even understood why that would ahve been a good idea (why he's called "Moonbeam" in the first place) - may be the very saving grace we have to stop these bills.

Is he my favorite? No. Hardly. Did he disgust me in the past with Anti-2nd Amendment bills he has signed? Yes.

Devil's Advocate here. Maybe OP is saying lets hope Brown helps us out.
Everyone on Calguns keeps talking about TDS. I never knew we had so many fish keepers!

The TDS on my 10gallon tanks 110ppm
The TDS on my 29 gallon tank is 150ppm (due to substrate)

Thank your neighbor and fellow gun owners for passing Prop 63. For that gun control is a winning legislative agenda.

I just thought that too - as he would seem to know better. In any case, too ambiguous anyway.

Gov Brown's veto message for SB374, the semi auto ban from 2013:

I'm pretty happy that the Governor is one of the few Democrats that isn't rabidly anti-gun.

When he's gone and Newsom takes over it's going to get bad for California gun owners. Very bad.
