We're safe...until next year.
Partisanship is cancer. Glory to the USA, glory to Ukraine, and I hope that someday Russia is free and the normal people have a voice.

That is, the bill, originating in the Assembly, failed to be voted out of the Assembly (out of A:Appropriations to A:Floor) by the Legislative Calendar due date of June 3. http://assembly.ca.gov/legislativedeadlinesBill is dead in committee.

I don't think Gavin can sign anything until 2019. Yes, everyone including myself has resigned themselves to the fact that he will be our next governor... but at least we have 3 years til he starts to do serious damage to this state.Comment

Someone should make a pinned thread that has a list of all the current gun-related bills and measures, a summary of each, and their current status, all in one convenient easy-to-read place. I know there's already a pinned bill index thread, but it's all broken up into different posts by different people and you have to click on each one and read all the pages to figure out where it's at, if it even says at all. Maybe I'll put something together this afternoon.Comment

Feel free.
I tried that a couple cycles ago. Turns out to be a lot of work come August, as things cycle more quickly, and the legislative web site cannot keep up, so the info to update such a thread is often a day or three behind.
The place to haunt is the Governor's web site, for the press releases about bills signed and vetoed.ARCHIVED Calguns Foundation Wiki here: http://web.archive.org/web/201908310...itle=Main_Page

On second thought maybe the existing thread is fine
