you, but this flaming arguing business has no

my response to the above would have been that
'dave' started this 'flaming', not i, and that
i was not doing any flaming- i even reminded
him and jon that this group was supposed to
be for ads, etc. however, i was not going to
just sit there and not respond.
also, i would have gone into details about
the private party transfer that i mentioned,
listing exactly how it was done, what my
dealer and the seller's dealer said to do to
for it to be legal, etc.
the yahoo group says:
'Description
This group is intended for the posting of for
sale ads for southern and northern california
sportsmen whi wish to sell their guns to
local buyers.
ALL LAWS AND LEGAL REQUIREMENTS
MUST BE MET. Violators will be banned.'
as far as i know, it is not illegal to post the ads
i posted, nor to explain things the way i did.
i was not planning to do anything i knew to be
illegal either- for example, i knew that i might
not be able to legally buy the saiga-12
shotgun i wanted. i assumed that if if i found
one for sale, i would call my local dealer and
the doj and ask. if they said no, that would be
the end of that possible transfer. i would have
then written to the doj, explained things, and
asked if there was any way for me to obtain
one.
what do you think?
