I'm actually posting for a friend....he got in trouble over 20 years ago was an accessory to a gun crime a misdemeanor took a deal got 2 years probation learned a lesson over the next 20 year's purchased several firearms as an avid hunter then last year out of nowhere he got a nock on the door it was the law they took him in for the weekend took all his guns with no explanation. He hired a lawyer that did nothing more than string him along making it seem like it was all going to be cleared up even getting his guns back then the feds backed out stating they may reopen the case? So my friend gave up fired the lawyer and has been waiting to try and attack this again any suggestions on a lawyer that has gun rights experience?

Go to the Calguns Foundation Help Line. They will probably not help you directly, but will probably refer you/your friend to a lawyer in your area that they know has experience with firearms issues.
