Help Change the CRPA! We Need To Hear From YOU!

    Hello fellow CalGunners!

The CRPA is about to go through very radical, positive changes and we want to hear from you!

I am looking for 4 to 5 gun owners to participate in a 'focus group' at the CRPA annual board meeting in Irvine on February 28 and March 1. Specifically, the current up and coming generation of California gun owners.

1). Male or Female, 21 to 35 years old.
2). Minority a plus, but not required.
3). An active gun owner and shooter
4). Located in the Orange County area.
5). CRPA and/or NRA membership preferred.

Your participation is completely voluntary and you will not be compensated for your time. But I would be glad to buy you breakfast!

I would need you to be at the CRPA board meeting at the Irvine Hilton Hotel at 9:00am on Sunday, March 1st. Plan on spending about an hour at the event. You should be done by 10:30am at the latest.

If you are interested in participating, please email me direct at: s.montanarella@crpa.org

Thanks very much and I look forward to hearing from you!

I fit all the criteria except for this one. Why specifically OC may I ask? An LA County resident can't come?
"Prohibit the peasants from owning katanas, wakizashis, arrows, spears, or matchlock rifles. If the peasants are armed, they will not pay nengu (taxes) and they will not be subordinate to the officials."

Toyotomi Hideyoshi's Sword Hunt Edict of 1588, establishing the class division between the peasants (commoners) and the samurai (the governing elites).

The only reason I confined it to the OC is for the sake of convenience for the participants. If you are willing to make the drive, you are more than welcome to participate. Please contact me at the email address above.

Sure, I mean it's not like I never go down to Irvine anyway.

Hey Tony, Call or email Alice Tripp of TSRA. They seem very effective and maybe she could offer suggestions to compliment what you have in mind

Do you know if anything like this is planned for the bay area?

                            Great idea-

I am an OFWG, but I DEFINITELY see the great need to get younger, social media savvy new blood on the web side, as well as on the range.

That is in no way a criticism of what has gone before, just the reflection of your own idea to tap into that for more, and better in CRPA,
just like some of what NRA has been doing, updated or fresh content, more diverse role models and younger voices- way to go on Colin Noir, and Top Gun Cheng, and all the Women of NRA- older, and new, 3 gunning etc etc...

wider net, bigger tent- 2A rights are for everyone...
