As long as he doesn't get kicked loose, due to "over-crowding", before the sun goes down.

Sadly, this wouldn't surprise me. Not even a little bit.

I don't think the feds send their convicts to LA County Jail.

Yee is under FEDERAL indictment, and any convictions will be Federal convictions. The Feds have plenty of room in their prisons, and they haven't even put out a bid for contract on installation of revolving doors yet.

To add to Decoligny's post above, within the federal system, parole is almost but not quite dead. You can’t be considered for parole as part of a federal sentence for any crime committed after November 1 of 1987, generally speaking. This change was made by congress and not the courts or the Attorney General. That being said, the U.S. Parole Commission still exists.

As did the Federal long distance telephone exise tax established to repay the war debt for the Spanish American War until 2006 (108 years). The Federal Government is very slow in doing away with anything that no longer serves its intended purpose.

The D*** media does little to none, ( the latter more than former ) reporting on this POS. (Lee)

The people should know how they have been lead, lied to, & tricked into giving up they're rights, this Douche is only one example of the dirt in Sacramento.

Journalist today are either to scared, to report these acts, tools, or are trained rodents, to say nothing of other Democratic party legal cases. (major fouque)

He better get real jail time, or I'm going to be pissed. I already know how you guy's feel...

I would gather that most people, that get into media or journalism. Is a liberal to begin with, they think Yee is a swell guy.

I know that's painting with a wide brush, but name a good conservative young investigative reporter...

Now name a bad liberal one (pretty much all reporters)

I would tend to agree somewhat on the political leanings except that this thread is based off of a report in a newspaper. Also, note the SF media went absolutely nuts over this case. At some point, it's just good old fashioned SF politics.

Maybe really long shot, but then his influence and political career is dead not to mention the expense he will pay in lawyers.

The good news is if he is convicted, we can all pay for magazine subscriptions in his name to guns and ammo and American rifleman and put the address at the club fed he will be staying in.
