Earlier this week, a large number of California and national gun rights organizations, law enforcement groups, and 21 individual sheriffs filed four important amicus briefs with the California Supreme Court. For various reasons, the briefs urge the Court to uphold the decisions of both the trial court and the court of appeal that overturned CA's laws banning mail order ammunition sales and mandating registration and thumpbrinting for all in-store transactions.
