New Supreme Court ruling. What's your take?

Hey Guys- please read the following:

"With another closely decided 5 to 4 decision, the Supreme Court ruled today that state governments are not able to ban most Americans from owning most types of handguns. The court ruled that firearms are "essential for self-defense." The court found that if the Second Amendment indeed protects an individual right to own a gun, the notion that the government can't ban all handguns is the minimum protection the Constitution can offer."

Does this mean we will be now able to purchase the Sig X-5 TACTICAL and other awesome and now banned handguns? Any lawyers out there?

There are several court cases in process right now to challenge the "Safe Handgun Roster" and AW laws.
However, these may take 6 months - 2 years to finalize.
Down the road a ways you should be able to get your Sig or whatever you want.
Please check the 2A politics and Laws section for details.
