Reading Friedman just shows how pissed Justice Thomas has been of the abuse of the 2nd and outright manipulation of Heller.

God bless Justice Clarence Thomas, and may he live another decade!
A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.

The Second Amendment makes us citizens, not subjects. All other enumerated rights are meaningless without gun rights.

I've said for years that Trump's long-term legacy will be SCTOUS.

Dear Lord I pray for another term and 2-3 more appointments

Whether that is correct, we'll just have to wait and see what SCOTUS does when it gets back to them.
I understand where the common use test comes from. Dangerous and unusual weapons can be banned. Common weapons aren?t unusual, so they are protected outright. You still have to show uncommon weapons are dangerous and unusual.

Even then, the NFA was not a ban, it?s a regulation. There is no historical analogue for the taxing, registration and restrictions placed on NFA items.

Nothing short of the very continued existence of the United States of America depends on replacing the two most solidly originalist Supreme Court Justices with equally robust jurists. Chief Justice Roberts likely would not retire during a potential second Trump administration, but the 6-3 conservative majority must persist at all costs.

Progressive judicial activism threatens far more than just the right to keep and bear arms. Earlier this week, a European Union court in Switzerland ruled that the government must restrict fossil fuels because climate change violates human rights. Everything is upside-down, twisted, and inverted under left-wing ideology. Imagine shutting down natural gas lines, banning gasoline cars, and calling this defending the rights of the people.

Socialist nations inevitably return to their roots and begin hauling subversives to camps, while their elites exalt the moves as bold defense of human rights.
