Not quite. Not every restriction in SB2 was challenged.

Wait. Didn?t the merit panel only reverse the administrative stay on Judge Carney?s decision? Your title is misleading unless I?m missing something. Also CA Supreme Court?

You should read the most recent few pages of the May v. Bonta thread for much more detailed information.

To be blunt: every single statement in the title of this thread is wrong: It wasn't the CA supreme court, and SB2 was not reversed. The reason this really annoys me is that there have been lots of threads, here on Calguns and many other places (including the MSM and Reddit, just as examples) that have claimed that "SB2 is dead" or "SB2 has been overturned. That is just nonsense. What happened (which I like!) was a minor procedural issue in what is going to be a long and drawn out lawsuit. The lack of critical thinking is what annoys me.

The OP already acknowledged his error (post #3). He should go back and edit the Title.

This thread needs to be closed as both incorrect and a duplicate of May v. Bonta.

The OP doesn't annoy me. What annoys me is that there are so many people like the OP, who uncritically post "great news". It's a lot like all the Youtube videos put out by the likes of Reno May, Armed Scholar and all those: Clickbait front page, "great news", "breakthrough", and then nothing happens.

The OP does annoy me; especially after acknowledging the error. It isn't hard to fix the topic or one's posts.
