I don?t know what you did to get your license revoked, but I bet it was good.
I don't know what really happened here, but we already know that California's may-issue regime is rife with capriciousness and corruption.
Anyways, the end result of this case suggests that being law-abiding but an ******* in San Joaquin county is no longer sufficient grounds for depriving somebody of their rights.Comment

Did you bother to do any independent research on this? Google makes it very easy. Or are you just willing to take the OP’s word on it merely because he posted it on the internet?Anchors Aweigh

Nothing could be further from the truth. This area is so gun-friendly we almost take our freedoms for granted.

But why beat around the bush? This thread exists and ranks high in search engines for the case. It appears that the sheriff was wrong as a matter of constitutional and natural law.
If there are some legally relevant wrinkles to the case justifying the sheriff's actions for future readers, it should be posted here for posterity. Especially if he is a friend of the second amendment in reality.Comment

Getting a CCW issued does not moot a case, since Frye's right to carry is still subject to laws infringing on his right to continue to carry. Unless those laws can be shown to be analagous to national historic traditions at the time of the adoption of the bill of rights, they are facially vioative of the 2nd and 14th Amendments.Comment

A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.
The Second Amendment makes us citizens, not subjects. All other enumerated rights are meaningless without gun rights.Comment
