    What's in the pipe?

After 2A cases failed cert, I haven't been keeping up with 2A cases.

Now that RGB is gone, what 2A cases are there to watch to see the light at the end of the tunnel?

In regards to all those cases that failed cert, it is ironically sad that after so many of those cases took many years to work their way up to SCOTUS only to be denied cert 6 months before RBG is replaced by ACB. We often lament how long all this stuff takes to progress, and it would have been in our best interest if they sat on those for another 6 months. Makes me think Roberts knew it wasn't long for RBG.
...Well, Mr. Dangerfield can feel better about himself now, because with Proposition 63, the Second Amendment gets even less respect than he does....

I agree to an extent, but a lot of those cases were just chipping away at gun control laws. We have an assault weapon case (Miller) in front of the 9th, working its way up to SCOTUS. That could take a huge chunk out of the gun control scheme all on its own and easily be more significant than Heller (Imagine a Thomas majority opinion)

I'm confident that a Thomas opinion on the Miller case, with a literal reference to Heller, would do the trick:

The ATF released statistics to the Free Beacon on Wednesday showing that the nearly 1.3 million silencers in the United States are rarely used in crimes.

The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives (ATF) released statistics to the Washington Free Beacon on Wednesday showing that the nearly 1.3 million silencers registered in the United States are rarely used in crimes.
The only question left is: "Can the government tax a right?"
I think we all know what Thoms' opinion would be.

Waiting for Rabbit to intrude and scream "You're Wrong! Read Heller"....

If you want to enjoy any additional 2A stuff, move out of California. It will likely be many years before something happens, if at all. All those 2A cases took years to get to SCOTUS, and were Literally “shot down” in a day. The Duncan case will take a long time to move. Democrats know this, and can enact more stuff along the way.

Why Not. SCOTUS taxed us for not BUYING INSURANCE.

ANJRPC V Grewal is our next best hope unless the new 5 judge majority decides it will now start taking prohibited persons cases. ANJRPC has requested en banc at the third circuit. We need to hope the third circuit denies en banc so the case reaches the Supreme Court as fast as possible. If en banc is granted then we're probably looking at 2022 since the 9th will drag Young V Hawaii out for a very long time.
