I was effected! Judge Benitez Ruiling

Last Friday 4/17/2020 I made my first 2020 ammo purchase at a LGS. I was well within my limits, rights, and I have a CCW, so I am not a criminal.

I went back to the LGS to actually DROS a firearm I had special ordered. Anyway, I asked to pick up 100 more rounds (2 box limit at LGS). When they ran my background I failed. They attempted to run it with different birth countries (Born in Philippines on an Air Force Base - I am 100% American). And they tried a series of races White, Filipino, White, Pacific Islander, etc. and I kept failing. Then they copied my background info from the previous purchase and again I failed. I was turned away from my LGS for not being able to 'run' my background. I could have stayed and asked them to continue to 'figure' out a way to get me to pass, but it was lunch time and I didn't want to continue to take up their time.

My 2nd amendment rights were infringed. The local government (Newsom and Baccera) specifically said "This ammo background will hinder criminals from purchasing ammo".

However, I am not a criminal and my rights were squashed. I felt a sigh of relief yesterday when I saw the injunction. I feel like I should tell my story to the California Rifle and Pistol Association for back up or evidence in this case. I am a small fish in a big pond, but 100% this law has effected me and my rights.

    Thought I would share!

Please ignore my grammer, I am on a bender today. My industry is up in arms for what we expect to come in May and how hard our investors will be impacted. I have been up since 3am speaking with people from NY and my brain is fried and my eye lids feel like sandpaper.
