Have any dealers or Attorney's discussed how stores will be able to sell (more importantly DROS), such firearms assuming that the ruling is in our favor? I'm quite curious as to how this would occur, especially in the event of a name banned firearm sale (ie Colt Sporter, Knights SR-25/SR-15, HK91, etc.).

None of that matters until there is a injunction issued, if that even happens.

Exactly, so it will likely be necessary to curb our enthusiasms with regards to the ruling. But also would be good to know how to proceed in the event of a favorable ruling. I just don't see how we would actually see a benefit in a favorable ruling with regards to new purchases considering how much more restrictive it is to get a firearm (dros and waiting period) as opposed to a magazine (cash and carry).

Three words: hedge. your. bets. Hopefully you registered one or more BBAWs, so if the ruling addresses those you'll reap the benefit. For now, buy one or more AR-15/AR-10 lowers. When this happens, if it applies to AR-pattern rifles that were not registered as BBAWs, 1) It's doubtful you'll be able to push one through DROS before a stay, and 2) there won't be a stripped lower left in America 3 days after this hits.

Convert your BBRAWs to real RAWs!
It's extremely unlikely that the named model restrictions will be stricken.
The primary goal of the lawsuit is to get rid of the "feature" based laws.

Anything other than BBRAW conversions is unlikely to survive the end of any temporary injunction that might occur for a few days until everything goes back to how it was before the injunction until the case is resolved.

People who didn't register BBRAWs are going to be so pissed if it turns out to be advantageous to have BBRAWs.

Wouldn't be surprised if California just shut down the DROS system completely during injunction and claim they couldn't handle the added traffic.

If St. Benitez ejoins PC30600 and PC30605 from enforcement, then remove your BBs or any other modification to any of your SA sporting firearms (no ATF mods e.g. FA, SBR etc. )

You just know there's going to be people getting busted with SBRs that they built after the ruling, because people don't know the difference between state and federal law.

IF there is any change to how currently registered AW's can be configured, only people with currently registered assault weapons will benefit.
Registered assault weapons are exempt of all the "features" based restrictions already.
The only restrictions on configuration are some regulations (not laws) that state that the bullet button must remain on the gun.
That regulation is concerning the registration process and should not technically apply after the registration process is completed.
The registry is closed so it's not possible to register new assault weapons until a new law is passed that re-defines assault weapons again and forces the registry open to register those that were not considered assault weapons under past definitions.

If there is any sort of freedom week 2.0, you could likely add features to your featureless rifle until the injunction is rescinded.
Assuming there is a week before the next judge rescinds the injunction, you could have a featured rifle for a week.
Then you would need to go back to featureless again.
