Monday is the first orders list from an actual conference for this term. Keep your fingers crossed Rodriguez and Zoie are not denied cert.

The Zoe H v Nebraska case did get denied, so obviously some interest in Rodriguez.

I just don't think they will risk cert when there is no certainty of who will fill the vacant seat.

You can rule any case involving the second amendment has been ruled improperly and place text, history, tradition as the new standard. We don't need to wait 3-4 years for the same cases they just dismissed in June. We just need the right justices who are willing to shove Roberts out of the way.

Ridiculous that the roster issue never came up with respect to Lori being able to repurchase the firearms through an FFL.

It is quite obvious FGG spent an inordinate amount of effort ignoring the fact that the roster may well have been an impediment.

It would seem the justices are going to skip October 2020 term for gun rights and try for a case next year... Hopefully. They are obviously easy to manipulate with threats of court packing and other retribution.

This thread should be locked as the case is dead, but gun rights are back in the game with Caniglia v Strom being granted cert, along with ANJRPC v Grewal and Folajtar v Attorney General Barr et al. being great cases to be granted cert. That's a 4A case that can strike at the heart of red flag laws along with two straight 2A cases that can help answer questions that Heller left unanswered.
