Remember, there's a fine line between coverage and bulk, which can hinder movement and movement is what is going to help keep you from taking a round.. hopefully.
    True true. Thanks!

Yea, once you hold a 2-pound plate and a 5 pound plate you really get what a difference it is.
You mean this one from Optactical? https://www.optactical.com/he38leiistal.html

Not sure if it’s apples to apples comparison, since OP doesn’t have small sized plate and .98 thickness vs 1.1” if I’m correct reading both vendor descriptions. $530 ish per plate from both places, not not much price wise difference to me.

    Thanks for the feedback..

Slickster is one of the more budget and low profile carriers out there IMO. The Ferro V5 is their full scalable plate carrier.

I started thinking and I was "Well, if I don't think I will ever use them then why buy anything.. if there's a chance then I might as well get good ones."

Like a fire extinguisher I hope I die of old age when them still in great condition

Gave up finding a carrier so I will just stick with my old Eagle CIRAS... which is a quality carrier.

    Thanks for the advice
Ferro already announced this Sunday to check our emails for a surprise also announced a HUGE restock Monday. We’re 4 days away.

Edit......they just posted a picture of hundreds of slicksters going to restock

I am lookin at getting the small SAPI cut set both front and rear plates for my Crye JPC, love the weight savings and protection level.

Ok will the Hescos contain frag out the front? Should I eventually get a spall pad for the back?
