Remember, there's a fine line between coverage and bulk, which can hinder movement and movement is what is going to help keep you from taking a round.. hopefully.

This is a crazy great thread. Learning a lot! I am sure this question gets asked a lot, but at what height would people recommend going from 10x12 to 11x14? I am 6'1 and my son is 5'10. Medium build for me

Not sure if it’s apples to apples comparison, since OP doesn’t have small sized plate and .98 thickness vs 1.1” if I’m correct reading both vendor descriptions. $530 ish per plate from both places, not not much price wise difference to me.

Slickster is one of the more budget and low profile carriers out there IMO. The Ferro V5 is their full scalable plate carrier.

I ended up with the lightweight front Hesco shooters cut and the Ultra-lightwieght rear Hesco in Medium SAPI cut..

$1000 for two plates.. but I'm done.. forever.. lol

I started thinking and I was "Well, if I don't think I will ever use them then why buy anything.. if there's a chance then I might as well get good ones."

Like a fire extinguisher I hope I die of old age when them still in great condition

Gave up finding a carrier so I will just stick with my old Eagle CIRAS... which is a quality carrier.

Ok will the Hescos contain frag out the front? Should I eventually get a spall pad for the back?
