cheapest 30-30 ive found consistently is at walmart. non lead is where you find it and ive found it at big five, dicks , and our local gun shop. i just bought a box 3 days ago and it was almost 40 bucks after tax. its hornaday leverrevolution but be sure its the monoflex bullet as they also make a lead round.

Yup, just load it with an e-tip, and obtain a muzzle velocity that is a few hundred fps behind the .30-30 with a bullet made for .308 velocities.

Lead free Remington 30-06 is about $50/box, so you're doing better than most at $40.

Figure one box to sight in, and then another box will last you a year or two.......... unless you're hunting private land and targets are everywhere. In that case, I wish I had that "problem"!

I think so..... whatever Big 5 had in stock. This stuff, I think. They had two choices for copper 30-06, Winchester for $30 a box, and Remington for $49. I bought the Winchester, and it grouped like *****.

I reload for my rifle now, using the Barnes TTSX bullets. Good Stuff.
