Hopped on an over-nighter out of H&M. Didn't take my GPS but boat motored about 4 hours SW out of Pt. Loma. Found some schools by trolling, but mostly meter marks and under the birds. No problem getting bit on live sardine and 20 - 30 lb. line. Lost a few to tangles and one to a big hammerhead that stayed in our chum line on the last stop of the day. Took home 30+ lbs of tuna steaks and fillets. Will be on the BBQ this Labor Day weekend. Hat cam video posted on YouTube.

The camera has a waterproof case. I made a poor man's GoPro pole out of a 6' bamboo garden stick from HomeDepot, epoxied a 1/4" bolt into one end to fit the camera's tripod mount. Should have got the 8' stick, I forgot how high off the water some sport boats ride then combined with the boat roll due to swell. Also needed to use the video editing software to flip the underwater image 180 degrees.Comment

The water is WAY to warm for albacore. Ain't gunna happen.I predict future happiness for Americans if they can prevent the government from wasting the labours of the people under the pretence of taking care of them.
