    Fishing LA Bay

Son & grandson took off @ 0400 this morning with two others, for two days of fishing. They had heard that making bait was pretty tough down there so, they went to Squid Co and bought a cooler full of frozen squid for bait just in case.

They will be fishing with the local Panga fleet.

The target is Yellow Tail, if they think too take pics I'll post them.

I went at the beginning of June. I spearfished the whole time. Whiffed a 100 pound gulfie but I got a 45 pound yellow, 45 pound gulfie, 15# barred pargo. The yellowtail were so thick. I would use schools of 20# yellows to get closer to the big gulf grouper at some spots.
