    Bullfrogs

Hi all. I will keep this short and sweet. I am a newer resident of Riverside County(Southern California). I moved here from Nebraska but originally from the Central Valley. I wanted any help or information anyone can/will be willing to throw my way in regards to any locations around Winchester, CA where I can hunt some bullfrogs. I dang sure won't go buy them from some meat shop and I figured most big lakes around my area will be to populated to get anything accomplished, you know what I mean? You can email me if you would like to keep your secrets safe, they will be with me, you have my word. It would only be me going and my Wife tags along from time to time. Thanks.

PS - Anyone with any stories they would like to share or any creative tips?

Well when I was younger jumping the fence at the golf course seemed to work pretty well. But now days with cameras and security everywhere I wouldnt reccomend it.

Haha, yea I hear ya. I'm still learning the area as well. Around here is nothing like back as far as hunting. I just want to get my name out there and keep an ear on things.

Just curious, is this considered hunting or fishing? Does it require a license? I don't have a clue.

Well, really you are hunting (gigging) the frogs but you will still need a fishing license in CA. Pretty much any amphibious animal you plan on collecting you'll need a fishing license for in good ol California. Not saying it's a bad thing though.

Too bad you are in So.Cal, I have a flat bottom boat and would like someone to go after frogs with. Good luck on your search
The best part of hunting and fishing was the thinking about going and the talking about it after you got back

My biggest worry is that my wife(when I'm dead)will sell my fishing gear for what I said I paid for it
