Fishing near Tracy?

Hey guys, I want to take my little boat out fishing and I was wondering if there was a good spot to launch within an hour drive of Tracy?
The boats just a 12 footer so no deep sea action.

Mossdale landing. I5 at mossdale landing by the green bridge. River water, good fishing in many spots up and down the river.

Great place to fish, but they do not allow you to launch a boat there (which is what the OP wants to do). You have to rent theirs.

Delta, many places to launch by Tracy for the best bass fishery in Kali if not the USA. Right now is still prime time if you know where to go.

Thanks guys, really appreciate all the tips. I live in Modesto but have to get the inlaws in Tracy to watch the little guy if I wanna take the boat. I knew there was spots just thought I'd tap in to the knowledge pool around here as a short cut.

Any tackle/bait tips that you guys can throw my way if I make it out.

P.S. The little guy is only 6 months, I will definitely have him out there when he can hold a rod.
