    If I hadn't just gone, I would be jumping all over this deal!


    What: 5/7 day hunt for four animals in Limpopo

    When: Only a couple dates available (below)

    I have an outfitter with just a couple of dates that he wants filled to complete the calendar. As such, he is offering a GREAT price on a safari for rifle or bowhunters. The details:


    $1450
    7 Days (5 Hunting Days plus 2 Travel Days)

    Includes: Bluewildebeest, Impala, Warthog and Duiker OR a $1000 credit towards any other specie of your choice.
    - Accommodation, Food & Drinks
    - Field Preparation of Trophies
    - Tracker & Skinner
    - Transfers to and from Airport (Johannesburg)
    - Professional Hunter
    (You can add additional days at $195 per hunter per day and $120 per Observer per day.)

    Open dates:

    20 -29 May ( Good for Kudu )
    10 -19 May ( Good for Kudu)

                    I went to Namibia for plains game in 2008, Zimbabwe in 2011 for Cape Buffalo (my avatar) and then South Africa with my brother in September of 2013 for plains game.

                            His rates are cheap... why are they cheap? It being fenced in does this mean guaranteed kills? What are 3 are they? Sounds like you would go again with him?

                              I've never hunted with this outfit, just passing along the deal that I stumbled on.

                              My impression is that he's trying to fill open dates that he has for the year and the dollar is strong right now against the South African Rand. In 2008 when I went to Africa for the first time the Rand was 8.80 to the dollar and right now it's 11.04 to the dollar

                              22,000 acres is a huge property. 1 square mile is 640 acres so you're talking about 34+ square miles of land. It's guaranteed that you will see all the animals that are offered as game density is a lot higher there and with no cattle to compete with them and adequate water, the land will carry huge numbers of wild game.

                              I hunted 15,000 acres last September and it was the last hour of the last day that I got my Impala and we were seeing Impala every day.
