So tempting. What deer zone is that?

You believe??? If you are going to advertise a hunting lease, it would be kind of important to know this.

Especially for deer where not everyone can get a tag for deer.

Umm, yeah thats kinda important. Based on your description it could be C or B zone. B zone is OTC, C is premium last I checked. Are you on the west or east side of I5?
This is public land, we're not hunting, we're hiking with guns. There are no deer or pigs on public land

If C-2 is your first choice, the Fish & Game people in Redding say you will get tags - if it's your second choice it's closer to a two in three chance of getting tags - The ranch is in C-2 - I can provide lat/long coordinates, and google map with place marker if someone is interested ... Thanks

That would be helpful. It means that most of those who lease will only get one buck each off the lease.

What kind of kills have you had in the past? Got Pics?

We purchased the property about four years ago ... There's been no hunting in that time ... Prior to our ownership there were two hunters on 788 acres of the property with a former owner ... So we don't have any photos for kills

Not sure what your point is? We have active hunting on two other properties ... We value the partnerships with the groups we have with us ... They are partners in helping manage the land and game ... We've left this land lay fallow for four years while building it from 788 acres to almost 1,700 acres ...

Ok, thanks. That does make it a tougher sell as a hunter would have to use points to get a guaranteed C zone tag and I think the rule is only one premium tag per hunter per year. Sounds like a cool property though, and I'm sure it will produce some good deer. Also, don't take Taper's last post too seriously, he is our resident goofball

Simple! For real! Good luck on finding good hunters. As in good luck and hope it all works out for everyone.

The rest of my statement was sarcasm and tongue in cheek (in bold)

If F&G told you that C Zone first choice tags are guaranteed, someone is not telling the truth. Two of my hunting buddy's did not draw for C4 in 2013. It was their first choice. Neither had a preference point. Yes, most people draw C zones with no preference points, but not all.
